“THE BASIS OF A BRILLIANT HAIRSTYLIST, OR COLORIST….IS AN ARTIST…SOMEONE WHO IS NOT AFRAID TO TRANSFORM YOU…WHO HAS HAD EXPERIENCE IN CREATIVITY, BALANCE, AND HARMONY…SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN WORKING WITH A PALETTE OF COLORS AND HAS HAD AN UNDERSTANDING WITH THE CHEMISTRY OF THE COLOR WHEEL AND ITS VERY IMPORTANT LAWS…HAVING WORKED WITH THESE LAWS MOST OF HIS/HER LIFE…AND WAY BEFORE THEY BECAME A COSMETOLOGIST.”

Hey I’m Matthew! I have been involved with the beauty industry since I was 14 years old. I started off my career journey here in Waxhaw, by becoming a makeup artist. Throughout years I found my life’s passion, doing hair. Now every day I go to work to make people feel great about themselves, it thrills me! It makes my soul shine when I can cut someone’s hair or change their outlook and boost their self-esteem. Runways and fashion shows are fun, but I could not imagine myself doing anything other than what I am doing right now. Working with people one on one to help fulfill their dreams.
Hey! I’m Ashleigh! I graduated from Stanley County Community College for Cosmetology. I’ve been doing hair for a little over 3 years now! I specialize in balayage and I love COLOR! When I’m not at work, I’m at home taking care of my dog who I look at as my child! My goal is to make you feel beautiful when you walk away from my chair! Come see me, so I can transform you!
Hey y’all, I’m Heather!
I’m a black sheep from Houston, Texas. I started my journey to this beautiful little town to fulfill my dreams and follow my heart. I have a four legged baby who takes up all of my time while I’m away from the chair. From the time I knew my left hand from my right hand I knew I wanted to do something that would impact the world, little did I know that would be making people feel beautiful to the best of my ability.
I love to give each client that sits in my chair a personal experience; to make them feel completely relaxed and allow them to actually enjoy getting their hair done. October of 2018 will make it 7 years since I’ve started my hair journey. I have been training in some of the best educational classes all over. I’ve worked beside some amazing artists and have taken what I have learned and added my own personal twist on everything. I’m a certified colorist who specializes in blonding services, color corrections and fantasy hair colors of all kinds. I would love to have you in my chair and give you a rad experience to make you feel beautiful.
Hey my name is Natalie! I have been working in customer service for about seven years now. I graduated high school back in 2014 and attended classes at South Piedmont Community College! My goal was to be an ultrasound technician. I got certified as a CNA (certified nurse assistant) and quickly figured out that wasn’t for me! I took a break from school and recently, I have decided to pursue a degree in marketing and advertising! I now take classes online through South Piedmont Community College. I love working at the Color Bar! Everyone is friendly and welcoming, with a positive attitude! When I’m not at the Color Bar I am at home with my 4 dogs who I love as my children! Call me to make an appointment!
