Hey I’m Matthew! I have been involved with the beauty industry since I was 14 years old. I started off my career journey here in Waxhaw, by becoming a makeup artist. Throughout years I found my life’s passion, doing hair. Now every day I go to work to make people feel great about themselves, it thrills me! It makes my soul shine when I can cut someone’s hair or change their outlook and boost their self-esteem. Runways and fashion shows are fun, but I could not imagine myself doing anything other than what I am doing right now. Working with people one on one to help fulfill their dreams.
I am a graduate of Continental School of Beauty in New York. Growing up I always loved art and hair-styling, from there my passion for cosmetology took off! With an eye for creative hair-styling, I specialize in updos as well as helping you create your everyday styles while in my chair. I love getting to know and understanding the personalities and lifestyles of my clients. This is key when working with my clients to create the best looks and styles for each individual.
Hey! I’m Nicki! I went to school at Chic University of Cosmetology in Grand Rapids, MI in 2000. I worked at a very established salon in MI till 2005. I decided to make a change and move to Charlotte, NC in 2005-2006. I have been making my clients beautiful since then! I decided to join The Color Bar recently and can’t wait to expand my horizons to Waxhaw and beyond! I love doing hair and making people feel good inside and out! It’s truly my passion. I am also very involved with animal rescues. I get to do the two things I love most…hair and animal rescue. I’m very fortunate with what I have been given in this life. Come see me and let’s play with those locks!!
Hey! I’m Ashleigh! I graduated from Stanley County Community College for Cosmetology. I’ve been doing hair for a little over 3 years now! I specialize in balayage and I love COLOR! When I’m not at work, I’m at home taking care of my dog who I look at as my child! My goal is to make you feel beautiful when you walk away from my chair! Come see me, so I can transform you!
Hey my name is Natalie! I have been working in customer service for about seven years now. I graduated high school back in 2014 and attended classes at South Piedmont Community College! My goal was to be an ultrasound technician. I got certified as a CNA (certified nurse assistant) and quickly figured out that wasn’t for me! I took a break from school and recently, I have decided to pursue a degree in marketing and advertising! I now take classes online through South Piedmont Community College. I love working at the Color Bar! Everyone is friendly and welcoming, with a positive attitude! When I’m not at the Color Bar I am at home with my 4 dogs who I love as my children! Call me to make an appointment!
